Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 4.33.31 PMHello, My name is Joanna and I’ve been working at a fashion company for quite sometime. For one of my projects, I used a Black Rayon Jersey Knit fabric provided by Stylish Fabric, to help me create this beautiful skirt that can be worn with just about anything and still make my outfit look amazing! This Rayon Spandex has the perfect weight to it. It also has a wonderful drape and smooth feel to it’s texture making it even more perfect to use to create this design. It’s not too bad, it’s not too sheer, and it’s it doesn’t wrinkle as much. Which is great when it’s a windy day in the city. I highly recommend this material for dresses, skirts, and shirts.

It’s very easy to know how a certain fabric would drape just by looking at it and knowing the weight of a certain material. The weight of this Jersey fabric knit is 200 GSM with the width being 58/60″, Although I know it’s super disappointing to order a fabric for your project because there’s just so many options to choose from so I will give you a fabric review that is perfect for making a long maxi skirt, short skirt and a maxi dress!

Long story short. It’s just easier to say that I am so in love with style #406 from https.www.stylishfabric.com.

This is a smooth and soft Black Rayon Spandex Jersey Knit. It has a nice solid Black color along the fabric which makes it a perfect choice for shirts, tanks, dresses, skirts, and even home decor!

Rayon Jersey Spandex blends comes in different weights and has more variety than most of the cotton spandex blends. They work great for a long maxi skirt or a long draped dress, and would probably be very cool in hot weather. The edges drapes very well and curl right after it gets washed.
