Not all of our fabrics are made for dresses, skirts, and all those type of fashion designs. Our fabrics can be used to make something fun and creative. If you don’t believe me, then keep reading because I have a whole lot of wonderful ideas and designs to make any fabric into a cosplayers dream.

I want to give a special shout out to Josefine Björklund for making this design! I sent her 2 yards of our 3003-Off White Solid CDC and she made a wonderful Jacket for her Candela Pokémon Go Cosplay. I spoke to Josefine recently and I asked her what had inspired her to make Cosplay designs. This is what she had to say.

Well, the thing that inspired me to even start with cosplay was my interest for Japan! My father found a local con and bought me a ticket and that’s how I first got in contact with it! I love fantasy and costumes and to dress up so I wanted to try it and today I’m competing to qualify for the national championships! I will compete in that qualifications for the third time this weekend!

She also goes on to explain how the fabric worked so well for and what she did to make this design.

The fabric provided by Stylish Fabric was amazing for the project! I used it on top of a cotton fabric to get some texture and it’s amazing! And it really gives a nice contrast to the red bi-stretch fabric! Even my friends who have seen it is in love with the contrast and the fabric alone! It’s really nice to work with and got a beautiful texture!

This fabric is made out of 100% Poly and 75 Denier, it’s very delicate and it has an amazing drape to it. The fabric itself is universal with a width of 57/58″ making it perfect for all cosplayers like Josefine. To use for any upcoming event or convention, who knows? You might even win best looking cosplay when you use our fabrics. Stylish fabric also has a Cosplay tab where you can see all the fabrics perfect to use for any design to make sure it looks authentic to what you’re trying to dress and look like. If you would like to buy this fabric, the link will be provided below.

Alexandra Ramos
My name is Alexandra Ramos but most people call me Alex for short. I just finished High School not too long ago and I work in the fashion industry of Downtown Los Angeles. You're probably wondering "She's so young." or "What would she know about fashion or writing blogs?" Well, that's what this blog is about. I learned a lot from my senior year Photojournalism class, learning how to take photos properly, using photoshop, how to get peoples attention with your articles, and I can go on and on about how the class was really good for me in helping me get this job, but this would literally turn into a book if I continued. But, my goal for this blog is to help designers like you find materials for projects and hopefully inspire any future designers out there. At the same time I can learn more about the fashion industry as I write these blogs. I plan to study Journalism in college and fashion design to make this blog more better and creative as time goes on. Hope you enjoy this blog as much as I do.
